Ingredients

  • 1/4 of Cocoa Powder
  • 142g Chocolate
  • 85g Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup of Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup of Sugar
  • 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 cup of Flour
  • 2 tbsp of SUNLAC Skim Milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 170g Chocolate Milk

Instructions

Step 1

Heat the oven to 180°C. Layer your baking pan with 2 sheets of aluminum foil. Spread a little butter on top and let it heat up.

Step 2

Using a large heatproof bowl, add the cocoa powder and ¼ cup of hot water and stir until smooth.

Step 3

Add the chocolate, butter and oil to the bowl with the cocoa mixture and melt in a pot filled with about 1 inch of warm water using the “double boil” method. Heat the mixture gently, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate and butter melt and the mixture is combined. Take the bowl out and let it cool

Step 4

Beat the sugar into the chocolate mixture. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and beat until the mixture is thick, smooth, and glossy.

Step 5

Add flour, SUNLAC skim and salt. Beat gently until combined and the mixture thickens

Step 6

Add chocolate milk to the mixture and mix with a spatula. Put the mixture into the pan that has been prepared, flatten it.

Step 7

Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Step 8

Let the brownies cool for about 1 hour, then put them in the fridge. Use the tip of the aluminum foil to lift the brownies from the pan and transfer to a cutting board.

Note:

  1. Use an 8 x 8 inch pan for best results.
  2. Brownies can be eaten with ice cream.
